Who we are

QuickEvents (www.quickevents.uk) runs social events in Leicester. QuickEvents works alongside QuickSnap (quicksnap.uk). Contact us about your data at info@quicksnap.uk.

What we collect

When you book or register interest we collect your name, email address, phone number, the number of places and any note you add. Card payments are handled by SumUp; we never see or store your card details. If you apply to work with us as a venue or creator, we collect the details you enter in that form.

How we use it

• To manage your booking: confirming places, telling you about changes to the event and contacting you about it. This is needed to provide the service you asked for.
• To work with you: if you apply as a venue or creator, we use your details to discuss and arrange events with you.
• Marketing, only if you tick the box: if you opt in, QuickEvents and QuickSnap may email and text you about future events, offers and news. This is based on your consent, and booking never depends on it.

Who we share it with

If you opt in to marketing, your name, email and phone number are shared between QuickEvents and QuickSnap for that purpose. We also use SumUp (payments) and Railway (website hosting). We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Booking details are kept for up to 2 years after your event. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our emails, by replying STOP to a text, or by emailing info@quicksnap.uk. You can also ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
